How to Print Prescriptions on 8.5”x11” Tamper-proof Paper using WebCIS

 

Beginning October 1, 2008, all prescriptions must be printed on tamper-proof paper.  In VC-2 (AIM clinic), VC-3, VC-10, and AIM East, existing laser printers will be used for printing WebCIS prescriptions, formatted 2x2 per page on 8˝ x 11 prescription paper.  Prescription paper will be loaded into TRAY 2, and regular paper will be loaded into TRAY 3.  In most cases, regular printing should not be affected.

 

To print prescriptions in WebCIS in VC-2 (AIM clinic), VC-3, VC-10, and AIM East using existing laser printers, follow these steps:

 

 

1.      In Out-Patient Medications within WebCIS, press the “Display 8.5x11” button

 

 

  1. Verify the prescription output and click the “Print” icon

 

  1. When the “Print” dialog appears, click “Properties”

 

 

 

  1. Click the “Paper” tab and select the paper source to feed from TRAY 2
